Fergie (the youngest member of our family) is thankful for having a warm shelter (our home) this year. Last year in November, she was born on our friends farm as a barn cat. During one of our really bad storms, she disappeared and and was gone for 2 weeks. When she came back from her "adventure" her ears were frost bitten and she was in the process of losing about half of each of her ears. So we asked our friends if we could take her to be a part of our home. We had just lost our oldest kitty (from cancer) a few months prior. So a new little kitten was exactly what our house needed to lift our spirits. Now Fergie is a year old, and I am looking at her cuddle up with Petey (our pitty) and our other cat Bear. Warm and cozy with a big smile on her face.
